Welcome back! I have some flowers for you today, but this time around they’re Christmas flowers!
For this one, I started with a stripy gel print. I decided a few layers of gold Glitter Dust were in order.
I also added a few layers to some plain gel prints. I found that if you do this and then let it dry you can run it through your laminator or Fuse with some Deco Foil and you get pretty good coverage!
I did that with these and then die cut some poinsettia pieces from them.
I cut the beautiful Elegant Edger die from Gina K from some white Plush Paper (Formerly known as Flock).
I added some numbers from the Unity Just Numbers Adhesive Transfers.to a piece of acetate; peeled off one side and adhered them to the acetate, ran them through my die cutting machine to transfer them with pressure; peeled off the second side, added foil and ran it through again.
I peeled off the foil and voila!
I left the strip of acetate long and added some foam tape to the back of the numbers and added a little more foam under the left side of the adhesive and added a flower over the top and positioned the rest of the flowers around that one.
Don’t you just love those pretty little poinsettias??
Next I created a piece of mixed media on a wood slice.
I started by adding some Transfer Gel Duo through a stencil onto the wood slice and let it dry to tacky.
Then I added gold foil over the top of it… the Stencil Pal is perfect for transfer the foil on a solid piece like this.
I finished it off with some Glitter Dust Spray over the top of the entire slice.
I put the flowers together using Ultra Bond Adhesive.
I added them to the wood slice along with some additional leaves cut from Deco Foiled Gel Prints and Plush Paper. I also die cut numbers from another foiled gel print.
These numbers were perfect to use Shaker Strips to pop them up on to the project.
I also added a little wooden wreath and added foil to it using the adhesive.. I added it to areas of the wreath and then let it dry to tacky and rubbed on some foil.
I added some bits and baubles from my stash here and there. I just need to add a little hook on the back to hang it!
And that’s me for today! Thanks so much for stopping! I hope you’ll come again!
