Hi there, I am Amy Warner of Sew Incredibly Crazy. Here to show you how to create a more personal tote that can take only a few minutes and a little imagination. In the state I live in, plastic bags are going to be a thing of the past so what better way to carry around your fresh fruit and veggies at a farmers market or at your local supermarket.

HeatnBond® Lite Fusible Adhesive
Yellow and Green Fabrics
A Premade Tote – this one was purchased at Hobby Lobby
Coordinating thread – Aurifil Grey
HeatnBond Liquid Vinyl
Oliso Mini Iron
Fresh Word & Lemon Pattern
Fresh Totebag Pattern Instructions
Step 1: Trace the pattern onto the HeatnBond® Lite. The pattern has already been reversed for you. The leaves were created by just drawing two onto a leftover piece of HeatnBond® Lite Fusible Adhesive.
Step 2: Iron the fusible piece onto the fabric using an iron.
Step 3: Cut out the letters and/or shapes. Arrange them onto the tote. Remove the paper backing and iron in place.
Step 5: To make the tote either water-resistant or waterproof use HeatnBond Liquid Vinyl. For this take a paintbrush and apply it to the inside of the tote bag. This will make a nice seal coat on the tote that will keep you dry from the fresh produce. Follow the instructions on the jar for the recommended time and application.
