Hi there this is Jenifer here with you today to share this little wet bag to put your bathing suit in so that everything else in your bag doesn’t get wet. Have you ever been on a trip or at the water park or whatever and you change out of your wet suit and don’t know where to put it without getting all of your dry items wet. Well here is a fun little zip up bag that will keep your wets and drys separated.

Fabric
Oliso Iron
Zipper
Ribbon Scraps
Project Instructions:
I used just some scraps from a project that I had already completed and it worked out perfectly. I cut out 2 pieces of fabric each measuring 10″x 20″.
Step 1: Cut out the letters you want to use in the Hot Melt Adhesive. Iron it down onto the front of your bag. I don’t have a fancy machine so I trace around a font that I printed out in word. While this is cooling go to step 2.
Step 2: Following the directions apply the Iron-on Vinyl to the other piece of fabric. This will be the inside of the bag.
Here are the 2 fabric pieces. The one on the bottom has the Vinyl and the top piece has the Foiled lettering.TooltipTextStep 3: Sew the zipper along the top of the “sun” piece and sew along the bottom and the side using a 1/4″ seam allowance. Sew the bottom and the side of the Vinyl piece using a 1/2″ seam allowance. The larger seam allowance will help the bag keep its shape when you put the 2 pieces together. With wrong sides together insert the vinyl piece inside the “sun ” piece and stitch along the top, making sure you leave enough room so that the zipper will close.
For a little extra touch you can use a scrap of ribbon as a zipper pull and another scrap piece of ribbon along the side so you can hang it on a hook 🙂
