Thank You Window Cards with Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets Instructions:
Creating these cards are easy to do – in just a few steps, you can customize any card front into a gorgeous window card with the help of a Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheet. Gather together a few supplies – a new Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheet, some pretty Deco Foil Transfer sheets, some Purple Tape, Gina K. Designs Cardstock and your favorite Gina K. Designs wafer thin die set.
Create a card by trimming cardstock to 4.25″x5.5″ and fold along the top edge. Lay a wafer-thin die along the top edge of the card and set in place using Purple Tape.
Do the same thing with your card open, but place the die along one of the sides and let it overhang.
Now, grab some scrap cardstock and fold over itself. Open your card up and place the scrap cardstock under the portion of the die that you do not want to trim out on your card.
Run through your manual die cutting machine and once die cut, remove all the Purple Tape and the metal die
You can use scissors to trim off the partially die-cut design from the creased edge.
Add some distress ink along the edges of the die-cut design for a nice soft effect.
Run a new Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheet through a heated laminator using your favorite Deco Foil Transfer sheet. I chose Amber Watercolor for its’ pretty varied shades of gold.
Flip your card over and add adhesive along the edge of the die cut area. Place a trimmed out piece of the Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheet to the back, so that the foiled area faces out of the card.
Now, you are ready to finish off your card! Add some pretty Gina K. ribbon, a stamped sentiment, the choices are endless!
