Deco Foil Metallix Card Instructions
Start by selecting the ink of your choice and an applicator. Pat the brush onto the ink pad and then swirl onto the cardstock. Apply as little or as much ink as you like to achieve the depth of color you’re wanting.
Next, grab your Purple Tape and tear off a piece to hold the stencil image in place over your inked cardstock.
Using the Stencil Pal load the Deco Foil Metallix onto the straight edge side or directly onto the stencil. Then pull across the stencil for a smooth, ever coat of Metallix.
Any excess Metallix can be returned to the jar. Remove the stencil and remember to promptly clean the Stencil Pal and Stencil off with either warm soapy water or baby wipes.
Set the image aside and allow time to dry. The Deco Foil Metallix when dry has a deep, beautiful metallic shine.
Next stamp your bee images onto the white cardstock. Color in with Copic Markers or medium of your choice such as watercolors or colored pencils.
Once the images are dry, trim out with scissors and set to the side. Create the card base by cutting the black cardstock 5 1/4 inches by 8 1/2 inches and fold in half.
Use the Memory Runner XL to adhere the stenciled portion to the card.
Cut a piece from the inked cardstock 1 inch by 4 1/2 and adhere to the bottom of the card. Adhere the sweet stamped bees on the left with the tape runner. Finally, stamp the sweet greeting on the cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by for our team up with Whimsy Stamps. These turned out so cute, my boyfriend may get this in his mailbox this year!! Happy Valentine’s Day!
