Welcome to the Handmade Holidays 2015 Blog Hop!
We’re thrilled to join in this year and share with you a fun assortment of ideas from scrapbook pages, ornaments, gifts, home decor and much more! Today we kick things off with a layout from Designer Rebecca Keppel who shares some tips for using our iCraft® Deco Foil™ products!
Hi Therm O Web fans! Rebecca Keppel here with a few affordable tips for foiling during the holidays!
If you want to try out foiling for the holidays, but are not ready to commit to buying a laminator or pricey machine, Therm O Web has the answer for you! Therm O Web’s iCraft® Deco Foil™ Liquid and Foam Adhesives do not require heat setting of any kind! And you can create beautiful foiled effects for less using them!
Love the look of big foiled titles? Die cut or even hand cut a large title word out of Therm O Web’s iCraft® Deco Foils™ Foam Adhesive. Lay Deco Foils™ on top of the exposed foam adhesive and rub with your finger to create a”Magical” foiled effect!
Create 3 dimensional embellishments the same way. Use small punches to create shapes like this star from the Foam Adhesive and rub gold Deco Foil™ on top for spectacular shine.
The foam adhesive can be the star of the show on a card too! Cut a Christmas tree or other holiday shape out of foam adhesive and rub the Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheet on top.
You could easily assembly line this process and create an entire set of holiday cards.
Finally, buy a few inexpensive ornaments from a craft store (wood or chipboard shapes are both fine). Use a thick coat of Deco Foil™ Liquid Adhesive. Let Dry over night.
Cover with a holiday colored Deco Foil and rub on with your finger.
Lift the foil and voila! Affordable, foiled ornaments to deck your halls!
We are having an amazing GIVEAWAY with over $600 in craft supplies to help you make this holiday handmade! Enter to win using the Rafflecopter widget below!
