Weee I’m Three! Scrapbook Layout
by Jessica Michaels
Hello everyone! Jessica here with a layout featuring Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and Easy Cut Adhesive to document some photos of my son turning three this year. I’ve paired this up with the off the board challenge by Pineapple Papers which is to choose a layout from our Pinterest board and make a layout inspired by it. I chose a layout by Kat Benjamin.

Colorbok textured white cardstock
I started this layout by pulling out a sheet of textured white cardstock by Colorbok and my Easy Cut Adhesive, Craft and Carrier Sheets, and Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil Sheets. I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock down to 6”x6” and peeled the backing off one of the Easy Cut Adhesive sheets and applied it to my cardstock to give it a nice base for die cutting. I then reached for my Elle’s Studio Jumbo number dies and cut a bunch of 3’s with the top backing sheet still attached. I then cut a sheet of the foil down so it would completely cover my diecut 3’s and peeled the top backing piece off all of them and stuck them face down to the silver side of the foil. I then ran it through my hot laminator between a craft and carrier sheet. Out came my pretty foiled 3’s!
I then pulled out the Birthday Tabs stamp set and Adventure paper pack by Elle’s Studio. I matted my photos using my Memory XL Tape Runner and Easy Tear Tape with some smooth white cardstock and a patterned paper from the Adventure paper pack. I distressed the edges of the patterened paper for texture. I then did some random stamping down my layout with the Birthday Tab set using black archival ink for the wordy bits and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide for the confetti stars. I also pulled out the Elle’s Jumbo Outline Alpha’s stamp set and stamped the number 3 behind where all my foiled ones would sit. Then I simply attached my foiled beauties with my tape runner.
I threaded some bakers twine on the top of my layout in two colors, adhering to the top and bottom of the backside of my cardstock with some easy tear tape, leaving the top backing piece attached.
I added a few more embellishments by Elle’s Studio and sequins by Spiegelmom Scraps using the UltraBond Liquid Adhesive. It dries super clear so it’s perfect for adding sequins!
I added my title with some various Elle’s Studio alphas and laughed all the way, just like the little piggy in the Geico commercial! You know the one.
Lastly, I ripped a section from the left and ride side and attached patterned paper from that same Adventure pack with my Memory XL Tape Runner and then added some staples with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.
