Warm And Fuzzy Mother’s Day Card

Apply Blue Diamond Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet to a piece of Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive (remember, the fuzzy flocked side goes against the adhesive on the foam sheet).  Run it through your die cutting machine or your laminator set on its cold setting to ensure you get a good transfer of the flock to the foam adhesive.  Then apply iCraft Easy-Cut Adhesive to a piece of kraft cardstock, remove the backing paper and apply more Blue Diamond Flock Transfer Sheet to the cardstock, running it through your die cutter or laminator as before.  Die cut two flowers from each of the flocked pieces.  The Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet colour is slightly influenced by the colour of the substrate that you apply it to, so the flocked kraft cardstock flowers will be a slightly different shade of blue than the flocked white foam flowers.

Apply more iCraft Easy-Cut Adhesive to a piece of kraft cardstock and adhere Green Envy Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet to it.  Die cut a couple of green sprigs from the flocked cardstock.

Die cut a Mother’s Day sentiment into a piece of kraft cardstock and back the die cut words with remnants of the Blue Diamond flocked cardstock.

Ink up a piece of cardstock with shades of green Distress Inks and emboss it with a floral embossing folder (the size of your embossed background will be determined by the size of die cut flowers that you use, mine is about 4 1/8″ x 5 1/2″).

Adhere the embossed inked cardstock to a piece of white corrugated card, leaving about a 1/4″ reveal on all sides, with your Memory XL tape runner.

Adhere the whole assembly onto a kraft card blank, making sure to leave enough room at the bottom for your die cut Mother’s Day sentiment.  My finished card ended up being about 5″ x 7 1/4″.

Arrange your flocked flowers on top and adhere in place with iCraft Ultra Bond liquid adhesive.

Trim your die cut sentiment to size and adhere it along the bottom edge of the card.  Die cut a couple of small hearts from the remnants of the Blue Diamond flocked white foam and adhere onto the sentiment strip.

Add Star Dust Stickles Glitter glue around the edges of the card and around the hearts on the sentiment.  Die cut some tiny hearts from kraft cardstock and arrange them across the top.  Your Warm And Fuzzy Mother’s Day Card is complete!

Here are a few close-ups of the finished card, love the texture of the Deco Foil Flock!

Hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing how my card came together and that you’ve been inspired to make a warm and fuzzy card for your Mom with Therm O Web’s new Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets!

Thanks as always for stopping by, happy creating and happy Mother’s Day to all you Mom’s out there!
