Do you have a special someone to create a card for in time for Valentine’s Day? Katrina here, to share a quick card using Therm O Web products and the Authentique collection “Smitten”. And with the “Smitten” collection and ThermOWeb, there are so many fun combos of cards that you could create!
Therm O Web Supplies:
Therm O Web 3D White Foam Squares-1/4 inch
Therm O Web Sticky Dot Mini Runner
Therm O Web Zots™ Roll Bling
Therm O Web Glitter Dust™ Photo Corners-Silver
Other Supplies:
Cardstock-WorldWin Papers; Pattern Paper, Die Cuts and Buttons-Authentique (Smitten); Twine-May Arts
Here are the steps to complete the card above:
1. Cut card base 5 in x 10 in fold in half. Cut woodgrain paper 4.75 in x 4.75 in, text paper 4.25 in x 4.25 in, and diamond heart paper 3.50 in x 3.50 in. Use your ThermOWeb Sticky Dot Mini runner to adhere the woodgrain layer to the card base. Then adhere the text paper onto the woodgrain, centering both as you adhere them.
2. Attach ThermOWeb Glitter Dust™ Photo Corners-Silver to each corner of the diamond heart paper. After sliding the photo corners on, cut small strips of scrap paper and using the Sticky Dot Runner again, adhere the scraps onto the back of the sticky photo corners. This will hold the corners exactly in place, but also give you the ability to move the paper to decide on placement, without committing at first.
3. Attach the 3D Foam Squares to the back of your layer and adhere to your card base slightly off center, left to right. This will allow you to add the twine bow and hold it in place with a Zots™ Bling adhesive dot.
4. Using the die cuts that are included in the “Smitten” collection, decorate the front of your card. I used two of the cardstock die cuts and adhered them with the 3D Foam Squares. You can alter the die cuts any way you wish. I cut banner slits into the border strip here.
Thanks for stopping by the ThermOWeb blog today! Have a wonderful week and a Happy Valentine’s Day!
