I love the new Therm O Web iCraft® Deco Foils™ and with Valentine’s Day coming up they are perfect for decorating and creating cards for Valentine’s Day!

To create a gold foiled vase, start with a plan glass bottle and Therm O Web Glitter Dust™ Spray.

Spray the Gold Glitter Dust™ into the bottle.

Once it is dry, squeeze from Therm O Web iCraft® Deco Foil™ Liquid Glue on a silicone mat.

Using a foam brush paint the Deco Foil™ Liquid Glue onto the outside of the bottle. It is ok to create ridges, they end up giving the foil a wood grain look.

Place the Deco Foil™ around the bottle and smooth with your fingers to transfer the foil to the outside of the bottle. Create pinwheeels on straws and place inside the vase.

To use the Therm O Web iCraft® Deco Foil™ White Foam adhesive, die cut into a shape for a card.

For a fun effect, peel off the top of the adhesive backing and place the foil down. Place iCraft® Deco Foil™ in Gold and Deco Foil™ foam inside an embossing folder.

Run the embossing folder through your die cutting machine.

RK TOW Valentines-5Peel off the foil to reveal the embossed and foiled effect!

If there is more room on the remaining foil you can use it to create a polka dot foiled look for punched out shapes. The foam works with punches perfectly!

After punching desired shapes, peel off the front backing and rub the remaining foil on top.

Adhere all the die cut and punched shapes to a Valentine’s Day Card.

    Since you haven’t used heat with the foil on the bottle, does it stay? I want to foil something that can’t go through the laminator and want to make sure the foil will stay. Thank you!

      Hi Katherine….we have a variety of products that work with our Deco Foil and some need heat and others do not. Our Deco Foil Foam, Liquid, and Pen do not require any heat however they do hold up beautifully. Our Deco Foil PeelnStick Toner Sheets, Toner Sheets and Transfer Gel do require heat to set. All give a beautiful finish and all work perfectly with our Deco Foil Transfer Sheets. Hope that helps!
