Hello! Today on the blog, I am showing you how I created these two beautiful, simple cards using the NEW Deco Foil So Succulent Card Fronts! My color inspiration for both cards came from the iCraft Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Mystic Rainbow! However, I thought the iCraft Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Gold would be cute as an accent color!
I cut a piece of the Deco Foil in Gold just a little bit bigger than the new “So Succulent” card front and ran it though the Gina K Fuse foiling system.
I then picked out Tim Holtz Distress Oxides in colors similar to Mystic Rainbow! I used Salvaged Patina, Fossilized Amber, Kitsch Flamingo, and Dusty Concord. I brushed on the colors in a rainbow pattern across the So Succulent card front. When I was finished blending, I wiped off the excess color on the gold foil.
I wanted my sentiment to be die cut with the Mystic Rainbow Foil, so I placed Deco Foil’s Black Toner card front and the Mystic Rainbow foil together and ran it through the Fuse foiling system.
I wanted to stack my “hello” sentiment a few times, so I cut a few out in gold and the cut the final one out in Mystic Rainbow foil. After all the die-cut were done, I used the iCraft Sticky Dots to put them all together, Then I placed iCraft Foam Squares behind the sentiment to give me even more dimension!
I love how this card turned out! I also cut out a succulent flower from a blank card front and pair it with the sentiment! Lastly, I die-cut the card front from a stitched rectangular die to give more interest!
My second card was done exactly like the first, but I just used the Deco Foil Mystic Rainbow Foil to fuse to the So Succulent Card Front! The I added a crate and the Succulent flowers that I also colored with the Distress Oxides!
I hope my post today inspires you to use Therm O Web products in your creations! There are so many products they carry to spice up your projects, like Deco Foil! There are also so many products that help you make your creations with ease, like the card fronts! I hope you have a wonderful crafty week!
