Hello friends! It’s Juliana and I’m excited to be here today as part of our week-long team up with Jillibean Soup. Along with their fabulous scrapbooking and card making products, they also have an entire line of DIY crafting products called Mixed the Media. I combined several of the Jillibean Soup Mix the Media products and my favorite Therm O Web Adhesives to create a fun USA Wall Hanging.
USA Wood Wall Hanging
To begin creating the project, take one of the Jillibean Soup Mix the Media wood words and cut strips of 1/4″ SuperTape™. Adhere them to the back side of the word. Peel off the adhesive liner and adhere the word to the center of the USA Wood Plank. SuperTape™ really is super strong!
To embellish the piece, take several Jillibean Soup Felt Flowers. These come with adhesive on them, however, I tend to move them around so much trying to decide where to put them that I almost always destroy the adhesive.
That is where Therm O Web Zots, come to the rescue! If you happen to do the same thing, simply adhere a Large Zot to the back side of each felt flower and adhere them in place.
To give the flowers a bit of shine, hand cut some leaves from iCraft Deco Foil Foam Adhesive.
After cutting out the leaves, peel off the adhesive liner. Adhere the leaves to the backside of a piece of Deco Foil™. Gently rub the foil to fully adhere it to the foam.
If you want foil on both sides of the leaves, feel free to repeat this process on the other side.
Use 3D Foam Squares to adhere the leaves to the Wood Plank.
By combining Therm O Web Adhesives and Jillibean Soup Mix the Media, you can easily create some fantastic DIY Home Decor pieces for your home.
Be sure to visit our friends at Jillibean Soup today and stop by their blog! And that’s not all…get yourself entered to win! We’lre offering a $25 Gift Card PLUS a Jillibean Soup 2 Cool for School Paper Pack!!
