Hello Crafty Friends!!

Ugly Sweater Background Panels for Cards

Larissa here today sharing a Set of AMAZING Ugly Sweater Inspired Background Panels using a combination of Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Deco Foil Flock Sheets and some Patterned Paper from Photoplay!!

I LOVE the idea of using your Scraps or Stash to create your own Background Panels that definitely pack a PUNCH!! Let’s get started!!

I Started by creating all of my Deco Foil Flocked Cardstock Panels to Die Cut into the Strips that I used to create my Background Panels!! I’ve adhered the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in Blue Sky, Green Envy, Pink Carnation, Emerald Green & Ruby Red using coordinating Cardstock and Easy-Cut Adhesive Sheets!!

I picked my Colors by using the Photoplay 6×6 Tulla & Norbert’s Christmas Party Paper Pad as my inspiration!! I Cut the Deco Foil Flock Sheets into different two size Strips and then Cut some Patterned Paper Strips from the 6×6 Paper Pad and set them all aside while I created the rest of the Strips for my Ugly Sweater Inspired Background Panels!!

I Cut some Deco Foil Toner Sheets and Foiled them with some Gina K. Designs Sparkling Silver Fancy Foil and Cut them into Strips and set them aside!!

I Cut some Deco Foil Toner Sheets and Foiled them with some Gina K. Designs Glimmering Gold Fancy Foil and Cut it into Strips and set them aside!!

I Cut some A2 Card Bases from some White Cardstock and Scored them to create my Cards!! Then I used Various Strips to create my Cardbase Panels!! I adhered to each Strip using Ultra Bond Adhesive and then cut the excess off!! I really LOVE the Design of these Backgrounds!! The Possibilities are ENDLESS and really pack a PUNCH with all of the Texture from the Deco Foil Flock Sheets, Sparkle and Shine from the Fancy Foil and some FUN Patterns with the Patterned Paper!!

For the Focals of my Card, I Cut the Patterned Paper Panels from the Photoplay 6×6 Tulla & Norbert’s Christmas Party Paper Pad!! I just LOVE these SWEET Designs as they’re  PERFECT for quick and EASY Cards!!

I adhered the Patterned Paper Panels to the Center of the Cardbase Panels using Foam Tape for some Dimension and these Cards are READY to send!!

Here’s a Close Up look at the Texture, Sparkle and Shine and Patterns!! So FUN Right!!??

Card 2 uses the Same Background Panel Design, except I’ve switched out the Fancy Foil to tie in with the colors in the Patterned Paper Panel!! I LOVE how it looks!!

Here’s a Close Up look at the 2nd Card Design!!

I repeated the same Pattern for the 3rd Card again just switching out the Fancy Foil as I felt the Sparkling Silver went better with the Patterned Paper Panel Design!!

Here’s a Close Up look at the 3rd Card Design!!

The 4th Card uses the same Design just switching back to the Glimmering Gold Fancy Foil, again because I felt it went better with the Design of the Patterned Paper Panel!!

Here’s a Close Up look at the 4th Card Design!! How FUN is that Ugly Sweater with the Sentiment!! Just makes me SMILE!! So there you have it a Set of AMAZING Ugly Sweater Inspired Background Panels using a combination of Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Deco Foil Flock Sheets and some Patterned Paper from Photoplay!!
