Trio of Non-Traditional Colored Holiday Cards and Gifts!!

Larissa here today to share a Trio of Non-Traditional Colored Holiday Projects!! I’m a HUGE fan of the Traditional Red and Green color scheme for the Holidays, but I also think its FUN to step out of that comfort zone and try Non-Traditional Colored Holiday Projects too!! I hope I can INSPIRE you to try the same!!??
I wanted to go with a Plum and Turquoise Color Scheme and this first card is a STUNNING Card for someone Special!!

I Started by Stamping the Poinsettia Images using Distress Oxide Inks and my Mini MISTI Stamping Tool!! I’ve used Dusty Concord and Aged Mahogany for the Second Layer of the Poinsettias!! Again being able to layer the inks just REALLY makes these Images come to life!!

For the Front Poinsettia Images, I Stamped the Images again using the Mini MISTI!! I Started with Milled Lavender, then used an Ink Dauber to apply some Dusty Concord Ink and finishing the edges by Stamping with some Aged Mahogany!! I LOVE this Combination and will definitely be using it again for some more Holiday Projects!!
I wanted to add some Deco Foil Flock to the center of the Poinsettia’s so I used the Pixie Spray on the back of my Stencil and adhered it to the center of the Poinsettias and applied some Deco Foil Transfer Gel using the Stencil Pal!! Then set it aside to dry completely!!
Next, I cut some Purple Punch Deco Foil Flock and adhered it to the top of the Deco Foil Transfer Gel that I stenciled onto the Poinsettias!! Then I ran it through my Laminating Machine and SWOON!! The Flocking adds that REAL Fuzzy look to the Poinsettia Centers!! I then took the Stencil and adhered it back over the Flocked Centers and used the Distress Oxide Inks to make it match the Poinsettias!! Using both Dusty Concord and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Inks!!

Next, I stamped the Holly Leaves in a Similar way!! Using Bundled Sage and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Inks!! I LOVE using the Mini MISTI Stamping tool as it makes this process SO EASY and FAST!!

For the Holly Leaves Vines Detail along with the Stencil I used Pine Needles and Vintage Photo and I just LOVE the added detail!! It really makes these Leaves come to life!! Then I took the coordinating Die and Die Cut them all out!! I LOVE to do SEVERAL ALL at once and then I can just use them as I need them to create more than one card as I’m creating!!
I inked the Greenery Image using some Old Paper and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks!!

I wanted the Berries to have a two-toned look so I mixed together Pure Gold Metallix Gel along with some Gold Glitz Glitter Gel!!
After mixing it together I added the Berries again using the Stencil that I sprayed with Pixie Spray and added some of the Custom Metallix Glitz Glitter Gel I created!! I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops on top once the Metallix Glitz Glitter Gel was dry just to add a little more dimension and shine and I LOVE how it looks in real life!! I used the coordinating Die to Die Cut them out!!

I used Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass to ink the Card Panel and then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! I adhered to the images to create my Design using a combination of Gina K Designs Foam Tape and Zots Bling Adhesive Dots!! I then used the Zots Bling adhesive dots to place the Lavender Jewels to the center of the Card and I LOVE the way it turned out!!

For my Second Project, I created a Gift Bag!! I LOVE creating these for SPECIAL Gifts for the Holidays!! Just a few STUNNING Images and you have yourself a Gift Package that will leave a LASTING Impression!!

I inked the Greenery Image using some Bundled Sage and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Inks!!

I wanted the Berries to have a two-toned look so I mixed together Copper Metallix Gel along with some Red Velvet Glitz Glitter Gel!! After mixing it together I added the Berries again using the Stencil and some of the Custom Metallix Glitz Glitter Gel I created!! I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops on top once the Metallix Glitz Glitter Gel was dry just to add a little more dimension and shine and I LOVE how it looks in real life!! I used the coordinating Die to Die Cut them out!!

I Stamped the Leaves using the Mini MISTI Stamping Tool in Mowed Lawn and then used an Ink Dauber and applied a little Pine Needles and tamped the images again!! I LOVE the shading it adds to the Images!!

I Die Cut all of the Images using the coordinating Dies!! I created a Gingham Gift Bag and then Die Cut the Gina K Designs Stitched Rectangle and Inked it with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and then adhered to the Floral arrangement using some Gina K Designs Foam Tape and Zots Bling Adhesive Dots!!

For my last Project I created another Card only I wanted to use the BEAUTIFUL Ornaments from the Set!! I was going for a Vintage Styled Design and I LOVE how it turned out!! 
I Stamped the Ornament Image first using my Mini MISTI Stamping Tool!! I Stamped first with Shaded Lilac, then used an Ink Dauber and Inked next with Dusty Concord, then inked just the edges with Aged Mahogany!! I LOVE the dimension it adds to the Ornament by using the combination of Distress Oxide Inks!!
Next, I used my FAVORITE Purple Tape and Masked off the Swirls from the Stencil!! Then I applied some of the Wild Lilac Glitz Glitter Gel using the Stencil Pal!! SWOON!! I just LOVE all of the possibilities for decorating these ornaments using the different images on the Stencil!!

I wanted to create a Scalloped Panel to frame the Card Design so I applied some of the Gina K Designs Wild Lilac Glitz Glitter Gel to some Cardstock using the Stencil Pal!! Once it was dry I Die Cut it out using the Frames and Flags Die!!

For the Card Panel, I wanted to use the Stencil and create a Snowflake Design using a Mixture of Metallix White Pearl Gel and Gina K Designs White Glitz Glitter Gel!! I inked first with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass!! Then using the Pixie Spray, I sprayed the Stencil and adhered it over the Card Panel!! Using the Stencil Pal I applied the Gel and set it aside to dry!!

Once the Stenciled Snowflakes were dry I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the bottom center of the Card Panel!!

I arranged the Elements and created my Design!! I used some Silver Twine to make it appear that the ornaments were hanging on the Card and then added a Couple Silver Twine Bows and some Amethyst Jewels to the Center of the Ornaments for even more Sparkle and Dimension!! I used Gina K Designs Foam Tape to pop up the Ornaments and the Holly Leaves!! This card reminds of the Vintage Ornaments my Grandma Hangs on her tree each year!!
