Hi! This is Kristen here from Two Blondes and A Sewing Machine to share one of my recent Thermoweb projects. I am primarily a quilter and have used these products for such a long time, they are my tried and true!
The project below is a Texas Mini Quilt I recently made for one of my dear friends. She loves Texas and so I just knew I wanted to use the Scrappy Bits Appliqué Method to create a unique mini for her. Anna Maria Horner is her favorite designer so I incorporated all of this into one truly fun and whimsical mini quilt.
Supplies:
-Fabric: Half yard of a Solid, 10-20 scraps of bright print fabric, 1/4 yard for binding
–Thermoweb HeatnBond® Fusible Fleece
Directions:
-Cut out two 18×18 pieces of solid fabric.
-Locate image and trace it out on StitchnSew™.
-Fuse HeatnBond® lite to all of the scrap pieces and follow Scrappy Bits Applique Technique for applying pieces.
-Using SpraynBond secure the cut out shape onto one of the solid 18×18 pieces.
-Cut out one 18×18 piece of HeatnBond® Fusible Fleece and fuse it to the back of the mini quilt top.
-Layer the back 18×18 piece of fabric with the fused quilt top and quilt as desired.
-Bind and Iron. Enjoy your new mini!
Happy crafting!
-Kristen
