Hello everyone and Happy Pet Week on the Therm O Web blog! Today I am sharing a scrapbook page, Take Me for a Walk layout with lots of different ways to use Deco Foil.
Take Me for a Walk Layout
Therm O Web Supplies:
Deco Foll PeelnStick Toner Sheets
Rebekah Meier Designs Foil – Vintage Tin
iCraft Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive
iCraft Mixed Media Sheets – Lightweight
Gina K Designs Foil-Mates – Stars & Stripes
3D Foam Squares
Take Me For a Walk Layout Instructions:
I began by cutting some dog paw footprints from my white cardstock background and backing them with patterned paper. To add a little artsy feel, I used the “Soda Fizz” stencil from Southern Ridge Trading Company and some light brown inks.

To make my dog bone tag, I used Peel N Stick Toner sheet and Rebekah Meier Designs Foil in Vintage Tin and ran it through my laminator. I used the same technique and foil to create the word “Walk”, however, I only foiled half of the word and left the other half black for a fun contrast.
To mat my photo, I used some patterned paper and a strip of a Gina K Designs Foil-Mates from the Stars & Stripes” pack, also foiled with the Vintage Tin Foil.
To add a softer layer behind my photo, I used a Lightweight Mixed Media sheet, and also tore a few bits of the sheets to add as subtle texture borders on the top and bottom of the page.
As always, I used the Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive to glue everything and add some dimension to a few elements with the 3D Foam Squares.
Take a few moments to watch my process video as I step you through how I put this fun layout together!
Thanks for stopping by and love your fur babies!
