Tacky Christmas Sweater Scrapbook Page

We’re back with more fun ideas featuring ugly or perhaps tacky is a better word… Christmas Sweaters! Suzanna joins us today with a new project featuring Photo Play Paper and offers a video tutorial as well! Don’t miss it!

There are tacky, ugly Holiday sweaters, UGLY sweaters, and just Holiday sweaters; which of them is your pick? We are more of the busy Holiday sweater crew, as seen in the photos on my layout. And what better way to document that than with some flock-adorned sweaters and the Frostival collection from PhotoPlay Paper? Or the look of the rows of the sweaters on the layout itself?

ThermOWeb supplies;

It’s as easy as one, two, three to create your own ugly sweater embellishments with the PhotoPlay Paper coordinating stamp and die set from Frostival, some DecoFoil Flock, and colored markers. One; stamp the sweater on white cardstock. Two; Apply rows of DecoFoil Adhesive Pen where you want the flock to be. Wait 30 seconds to dry then rub flock (flock side down) with a bone folder over the dry adhesive. Three; color sweater with additional layers of color.

Carry the theme of the sweater looks to your layout by adding ribbing to the bottom, just like the sweater. Cut Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets with a metal die then hand-stitch them for an added row of color.

Sprinkle the handmade fun around your layout and you’re all “Decked Out” and ready for a festive season with your ugly sweaters! Be sure to click on the video link below to see how this layout came together and how simple it is to create your own flocked Holiday sweater.
