Hello!  This week at Therm O Web we’re celebrating all things yummy!  So on the question of salty or sweet snacks, I definitely fall on the sweets side!  I created two cards today celebrating all the sugar.  And I’ve got some fun Pretty Pink Posh products that I’ve combined with lots of beautiful stuff from the Therm O Web shop!

Sweet Treat Cards with Deco Foil and Glitter Dust Spray

Hello!  This week at Therm O Web we’re celebrating all things yummy!  So on the question of salty or sweet snacks I definitely fall on the sweets side!  I created two cards today celebrating all the sugar.  And I’ve got some fun Pretty Pink Posh products that I’ve combined with lots of beautiful stuff from the Therm O Web shop!

For this one, I started with a light pink stenciled background using one of the layers from the Layered Valentine Hearts Stencil from PPP.  I added some Transfer Gel Duo through it after adding the ink and set it aside to dry.  When it was dry, I ran it through my die-cutting machine with some Magical Shattered Glass Deco Foil.  I love that you can use heat OR pressure with the Transfer Gel Duo!  Then I splattered on some pink and white paint and sprayed over the top with some Iridescent Glitter Dust.

Then I foiled a couple gel prints with the Magical Shattered Glass Deco Foil and 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ piece of toner sheet with Twinkling Pink Deco Foil.  I cut the Candy dies from all three sheets.

Then I mixed and matched the pieces and put them together like a bunch of little puzzles!

I cut a mug from another gel print and popped it up on the background and arranged all of my candies in and around the mug.

Did you know you can use Adhesive Transfers on clear acetate?  Since you can apply them with pressure it’s easy peasy!  I took the opportunity to pop up the sentiment, adding some candies above and under it!

I also applied a heart adhesive transfer onto another piece of gel print, cut it out and adhered it to the center of the mug.

My sweet tooth is screaming right now!

Next I turned to the Layered Chocolates Stencils except for this time I used all the layers!

For this one, I started with some browns for the chocolate layer and then added some Transfer Gel Blanco using the layer with the sprinkles and when it was dry, I ran it through my laminator with some Enchanted Rose foil.  Then I used the swirly and lines stencil and added some Transfer Gel Blanco but before I lifted the stencil I also applied a light layer of Glitz Glitter Gel over the top.  I splattered paint in browns and a little bit of pink over the top.

While it all dried, I stamped, die cut and colored the images from the PPP Heart Critters stamp set.

I die-cut a frame from some toner paper foiled in the Enchanted Rose and popped it up on the card and then added that sweet little kitty cat to it.  Then I foiled one of the Hello sentiments from the Oh Hello Toner Card Fronts and die cut it with the coordinating die.

I popped it up onto the card and stamped one of the sentiments from the set on a banner and added it underneath along with one of the small images from the set.

I just love the color variations in this Enchanted Rose Deco Foil!  It literally changes before your eyes each time you change the angle!

That’s me for today!  Thanks so much for spending some time with me and I hope you enjoyed it!  Be sure to come back often this week for lots more sweet stuff!
