I have a love for Mason jars…of all shapes and sizes! Whether they be for my home, my girls’ rooms, or for a gift, I find them to be a perfect holder for all kinds of things!
With Easter coming up around the corner, my girls and I are creating these for their teachers…to add a little sweet decor for their busy desks!
We filled the bottom with some jelly beans and robins egg candies…and added in little medallions, 3D hearts, flowers and some grass. And of course, we added little chick tags!
Foam Squares – combo pack
Glitter Dust – Iridescent
Zots – 3D single
Super Tape – 1/4 inch
Sticky Tape Runner Mini
Sticky Lines – 1/4 inch
Other supplies:
Patterned paper: Crate Paper
Scissors: Martha Stewart
Pink Twine – Twinery
Ribbon – May Arts
Bling – Michaels
Stamp – Imaginesce
For the grass, I simply cut one side with the scissors, and then adhered it with our sticky lines along the inside perimeter of the jar.
For the medallions, the ends of the accordian folded paper, super tape was used to adhere together.
The tops of the medallions are enclosed with a paper flower, that is adhered with some 3D zots. These really are the best, because they literally pick up all the dimension in those folds!
Then, lightly coat with some of our beautiful Glitter Dust.
Our sweet little chick tag was adhered with some Foam Squares and Zot dots.
And then we added some twine to wrap it around our Easter jar!
