Summertime Fun! - Therm O Web

Hello Sunshine! Have you seen the new Toner Card Fronts in the Therm O Web shop!? They are so fun and perfect for summertime creating! I created two cards for you today using the new packs! This one uses one from the Ray of Sunshine pack for the background and a sentiment from the Summertime sentiment pack.

I started by adding Gold Sparkle Deco Foil to one of the sunray fronts. Then I used the same gold to foil a panel of black Toner Card Front and die cut that cool Radiating Circle die from the foiled panel.

Then I cut it twice more from white cardstock and stacked and adhered them together for dimension.

Then I added foam tape and popped the stacked circle over the center of the sunray panel.

I die cut one of the sentiments from the Summertime Sentiment pack with a scalloped circle and blended some Distress Oxide inks over it. You can blend over the foiled area, and then gently buff the ink off of it to see it shine again.

I decided it would be fun to have even more dimension, so I used another scalloped circle to cut the sentiment smaller but then mounted them in different levels onto the center of the radiating circle. I purposely did not line up the colors for even more interest.

I love how it turned out! Just a simple hello for a friend.

Next I used a front from the Star Spangled pack! That beautiful Summer Rainbow foil was perfect for some fireworks!

I die cut another sentiment and then foiled it.

It was easy to line up the rainbow with the sentiment exactly where I wanted it to get the color(s) I wanted.

Then I foiled a white poly glaze sheet… I wanted a little heavier/thicker foiled piece so the Poly Gaze was perfect. Instead of die cutting the sentiment from the foiled sheet, I die cut the background and then popped the sentiment over it in white!
