Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here today to share a Trio of STUNNING Butterfly Layered Stencil Cards w/ Deco Foil as part of the Collaboration Week with Newton’s Nook Designs!!

SWOON!! I LOVE the NND Butterflies Stencil Set, as there are SO MANY possibilities!! BONUS, Butterflies can be literally ANY Color making it FUN to mix and Match with the Therm O Web Products you have in your Stash!! Think Deco Foils, Deco Flock and Glitz Glitter Gels just to get you started!!

Stunning Butterfly Layered Stencil Cards

Let’s Start with this BEAUTIFUL Thanks So Much Card!!
I Started by Spraying the backside of the Layered Stencil Set with some Pixie Spray!! A MUST have if you enjoy Stenciling, especially Layering Stencils!! Makes the process so EASY!!

Then I Placed the #1 Stencil over the Cardstock Panels and Inked with Black Soot Distress Ink!! I LOVE using Black as the base when Layering with Deco Foils, but any color could be used here depending on the look you’re going for!!

Next, I Lined up the Stencil #2 over the Inked Butterflies and pressed it in place then I adhered a thin layer of Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo using the Stencil Pal!! I removed the Stencil and then set the Panel aside to Dry completely!!

Once the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo is completely Dry it’ll be Clear and Tacky to the touch!! Then I cut a piece of Gina K Designs Dazzling Orange Fancy Foils Large enough to cover the Panel and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! SWOON!! Look at those STUNNING Butterflies!!

Once the Card Panel was Foiled, I added some Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for some Texture!! Then I added some Sequins and Trinity Stamp Fairy Rocks Rhinestones to the Center of the Butterflies for even MORE Sparkle!!

I finished the Card by adhering the Card Panel to the NND Frames & Flags Scalloped Rectangle Die Cut from some Black Cardstock!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment “Thanks So Much” from the NND Floral Roundabout Stamp Set onto the NND Banner Trio Die Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Banner onto the Card Panel using Gina K Designs Foam Squares!!

For the Second Card I wanted to use the NEW Brutus Monroe Rainglow Deco Foil!! It’s probably one of my FAVORITE Deco Foils as it combines Rainbow with Glitter!! SQUEAL!!

I repeated the process again for the Next Panel!! I Lined up the Stencil #2 over the Inked Butterflies and pressed it in place then I adhered a thin layer of Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo using the Stencil Pal!! I removed the Stencil and then set the Panel aside to Dry completely!!

Once the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo is completely Dry it’ll be Clear and Tacky to the touch!! Then I cut a piece of Brutus Monroe Rainglow Deco Foil Large enough to cover the Panel and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! SWOON!! Look at those STUNNING Butterflies!!

Once the Card Panel was Foiled, I added some Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for some Texture!! Then I added some Silver Jewels to the Center of the Butterflies for even MORE Sparkle!!

I finished the card by adhering the Card Panel to the NND Frames & Flags Scalloped Rectangle Die Cut from some Black Cardstock!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment “Just Wing It” from the NND Monarchs Stamp Set onto the NND Circle Frames Die Set Circles using WoW Embossing Ink and WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Circle Sentiment onto the Card Panel using Gina K Designs Foam Squares!!

For my Third Card I wanted to share how FUN it is to use Black Cardstock as the Background!! SWOON!! The Deco Foils REALLY POP against the Black and can be used for more Formal Occasions!!

Then I Placed the #1 Stencil over the Black Cardstock Panel and Inked with Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks!! TIP: You can use ANY of the Distress Oxide Inks to Ink over Black Cardstock for a BOLD Image!! I like to Layer Colors for even more coverage!! I LOVE using Black as the base when Layering with Deco Foils, but any color could be used here depending on the look you’re going for!!

Then I cut a piece of Brutus Monroe Purple Sketch Deco Foil Large enough to cover the Panel and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! SWOON!! Look at those STUNNING Butterflies!!

Once the Card Panel was Foiled, I added some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for some Texture!! Then I added some Trinity Stamp Fairy Rocks Rhinestones to the Center of the Butterflies for even MORE Sparkle!!

I finished the card by adhering the Card Panel to the NND Frames & Flags Scalloped Rectangle Die Cut from some TE Lavender Glaze Cardstock!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment “Happy Anniversary” from the NND Heartfelt Roses Stamp Set onto the NND Banner Trio Die Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Banner onto the Card Panel using Gina K Designs Foam Squares!!
