Hi there! Chrissie here!

Today I am sharing a few cards I made using stamps created for the holidays, but I’ve turned them into Spring-themed creations!

I love to stretch my supplies.  I’m always keeping scraps of paper, foil, flock, etc.  But what I really love is making my stamps or dies work in ways I wouldn’t normally think of at first glance.  I rarely put away any holiday items for this very reason.  It’s a challenge to try to use them year-round!

I’m using Unity Ornamental Pines Stamps and coordinating dies for these cards.  There are several different tree designs on this set, so I knew I could make one of them work for a non-holiday card.

I stamped and die cut a bunch of trees in a few different color greens.  Then, I used the Deco Foil for Unity Adhesive Transfer sheets to add a sentiment to the trees.  I used Unity Sentiments 1 and 2.

New to Adhesive Transfer sheets? Me too! They are BRAND NEW to everyone and they are incredible! They transfer down onto just about anything and then you can foil the image/sentiment.  And the best part is that a laminator isn’t even needed! Just pressure from a die-cutting machine works. Justin’s sharing an unconventional card tonight featuring some springy blooms and yes…a holiday stamp. It works! Get inspired to think outside the box with your craft supplies and extend them further…let Justin show you how tonight!

I used the Adhesive Transfer Sheets for my main sentiments, too.  I love how the foil just pops on the black background! Normally I wouldn’t choose black for a spring-themed card, but I just couldn’t resist making the Unity foils really stand out.

To complete everything, I stamped a few butterflies from Unity’s An Ungloomy Day Stamp set and adhered everything together with foam squares.
