Fall is just around the corner, and that means students everywhere are heading back to the classroom. This week, my son is leaving for college, and it is my hope to create lots of care packages to send to him throughout the year. To start him off, I’ve packaged up some basic back to school supplies with the help of a couple of clear cello bags, some school-themed papers, and my Therm O Web adhesives.
To get started, simply fill several large clear cello bags with a variety of school supplies. Stack the filled cello bags together, slightly staggering the length so the layers below still show. Fold over the tops of the cello bags and staple together.
Cut a 6×6 panel of patterned paper and fold in half to create a topper for the cello bags. Apply 1/2″ Supertape™ to both the front and back edges of the folded paper, and adhere topper to the cello packs.
Cut a 5.5″ square panel of contrasting paper, fold in half and adhere to the topper using Therm O Web Mini Sticky Tape Runner. Add Black Nickel Glitter Dust™ Photo Corners to the bottom corners. Tuck die cuts up under the bottom of the topper. Add cardstock border sticker across the bottom of the topper.
Tie twine around the topper. Dress package and topper with additional cardstock stickers. Apply 3D Adhesive Squares to a large chipboard accent and adhere to the right side of the topper.
Adhere die cut patterned paper to the front of a pack of binder paper or notebook using just a few Small Zots™ Dots to hold the paper in place. Tie with twine and stack with the cello pack.
Enjoy!
