Hiya scrappy peeps! Suzanna here today to share with you a spring layout. Spring here in Virginia seems to be more about rain showers than anything else. It rains for days and days and days. So much so, that you feel like an arc becomes necessary! What better rain than Metallix rain? Much shinier and brighter!
Spring Showers Scrapbook Layout
SUPPLIES
- Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets; Sunshine Yellow, Teal Waters, Emerald Green
- Gina K Designs Foam Tape, white
- Deco Foil Metallix – White Pearl
- iCraft UltraBond Liquid Adhesive
- Gina K Designs Permanent Adhesive Dot Runner
Did you know that if you want a colored Metallix that isn’t produced, you can make your own? It’s as simple as adding mist to White Pearl and mixing it in. Just as I did here to create the raindrops on the top, right of the page. You can either push it through a stencil or wipe it onto a foam stamp as I have done. The opaqueness of the White Pearl Metallix allows you to see through the colored layer.
Deco Foil Flock Transfer sheets make for some great texture in a spring flower garden. Especially if you use Spellspinder dies that have etched edges, leaving a design, much like embossing, in the flock. The texture in the flock makes a more visually interesting shape with little effort on your part.
As always, I have a process video available over on the ThermOWeb YouTube channel if you are interested in checking that out! Are you a scrapbooker and not sure how to integrate ThermOWeb products into your scrapbook pages? Be sure to check out the “How To; Scrapbook Pages” playlist and see how the ThermOWeb designers have used the various products on their pages! If you have something I particular you would like to see incorporated, let me know and I’ll see what I can do!
Thanks for stopping in today!
