Welcome back!  It’s Spring Bunnies week here on the Therm O Web blog and I decided to use some pretty spring colors on some beautiful backgrounds topped off with these adorable bunnies from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I don’t know about you but I never have enough birthday cards, so I made one for today.

Along with an uplifting card for a friend that needs a little encouragement.  Here’s my process:

I started with a couple fabulous Toner Card Fronts from the shop… this one from the Unity Stamps collection and one from the Rainbows Galore pack.  I foiled the floral with some Sweet Mango and the rainbows with Rainbow Shattered Glass.

Then I added some Distress Oxide to the floral… a little Squeezed Lemonade and some Saltwater Taffy.  You can add inks right over your foiled images and then just wipe over the top with a dry paper towel to remove the ink from the foil to let it shine.

I added rainbow clouds to my rainbow background using the same colors along with a little Spun Sugar.

I splattered some paint over the top in white, orange and pink to both panels and….

… of course sprayed some Iridescent Glitter Dust over the top… because more… is more.

I colored up my bunnies in colors that would coordinate with the backgrounds… I love how easy these were to color!  I cut the images out and colored in the inside bits to match the background to give the illusion that the in between spaces were cut out.

I cut a rainbow from some foiled toner sheets to match the rainbows on the card front and popped them up over the top.

I also cut out some little hearts using some retired Paper Smooches dies and a cloud from white glitter paper.

I added a simple sentiment from the Bunnies stamp set to the rainbow card and then stamped another one of the sentiments and cut it out and replaced the Happy Birthday with a foiled Happy from the Happy Everything Toner Card Fronts and a Birthday from the Unity Stamps Adhesive Transfer set.  The trickiest part about this one was fitting it all on the front, but I did it!

And I even had room to spare for some extra foiled hearts and sequins!

I stamped this sentiment in two colors overlapping just a bit for some more of that rainbow feel.

That’s me for today!  Thank you so much for stopping!  I hope you had fun and be sure to check out all of the bunnies on the blog this week!

Below are the products I used for these two!
