Spring is in the air here in the Rockies!  I love taking road trips to see what’s going on in the mountains!  Of course you can’t get very far because there is usually still too much snow!

A friend of mine took this photo last year after the spring meltdown.  The mountains were so full of these beautiful flowers and I can’t help but thinking of this secret garden every Spring.

To create the ruffle on this layout I cut 2 strips of paper, sprayed it with water, crumple them up and then uncrumple and let them dry. I sprayed it with Therm O Web’s new Iridescent Glitter Dust Spray and then inked the edges.  I stitched them on the page and then used Sticky Lines to adhere the ribbon ruffle to the paper ruffle.

I made this cute butterfly by stamping it on acetate and then adhering jewels with Zots for Bling.

Hope Spring is peaking through your part of the country!!

Thank you for visiting the ThermOWeb blog!

This is so beautiful Debbie! I love that sweet butterfly, I was not aware of Zots for Bling. Now I need to get some – LOL! I love your touch with the ruffle. Enjoy your weekend.
