There are times in life when everything seems to go wrong, and this blocks one from being able to be creative and be themselves. But then in life, you know that if you do something creative that you will feel a little bit more like yourself. For these times, I find if I do something creative for just 15 minutes, it will make me feel better. And when I can create a whole finished project in this time, I feel like I can be myself again.
To make this project, I took “Brutus Monroe Snowflake Acetate” and cut one of the sheets into four A2 card panels. Then I created a sandwich between my carrier sheet; white cardstock, Acetate (bumpy printed side up), “Brutus Monroe Foil Transfer Sheet Purple Sketch” and put the stack through my Gina K. Designs Fuse Foiling System on level 5. Then I let it cool.
Next, I trimmed a 1/4” off the acetate all the way around. Next, I cut down the instruction sheet down to A2 size (4-1/4″x5-1/2″). I attached the foiled acetate piece to the instruction sheet with a tape runner. I took a stamped sentiment and layered with some cardstock and flat-back crystals in the corners. I attached this with my “iCraft Ultrabond Liquid Adhesive”. All of it was put on a card base, and just like that, you have a finished card in about 15 minutes. The best part is you have enough materials to make three more cards and a whole second sheet of acetate for another day to craft.
