Hello friends! Therm-O-Web has teamed up this week with LDRS Creative to share some fun inspiration here on the blog. For my projects today, I decided to create some card backgrounds using Deco Foil Transfer Get Duo along with a snowflake Stencil from Echo Park and our Silver Star Deco Foil. The transfer gel is so easy to use and the results are really beautiful.

I start off with my stencil and spry some Pixie Spray on the back to hold it in place. Then I add some purple tape to hold the cardstock so I can spread the gel easily. I like to use a mat like a non-stick craft mat that’s easy to clean the duo off. You can buy them at scrapbook.com.

Next, I spread the gel over the stencil evenly and replace the unused gel back in the container.

Then you lift the stencil to reveal your design. I personally like to let my stenciled pieces overnight for the best results. You can allow it to dry for a couple of hours and use.

Once it’s dry I cut a sheet of the Silver star Deco Foil and place it over the dried Duo and run it through my laminator.

The result is so beautiful! I repeat the process and make an additional background so I have it for a second card.

Using the LDRS Snow deer to me set, I stamped the snow globe image and cut out the middle since I did not have the coordinating die (do yourself a favor and order it lol) I then laid it over the foiled stencil design and glued it down with our iCraft Ultrabond permanent adhesive to adhere the pieces. I cut away the excess cardstock.

Then I paper pieced the bottom of the snowglobe with a fun pattern and used our Ultrabond permanent adhesive to adhere to the pieces.

Next, I use the other stamps in the set to create a background.

And then I adhere the snowglobe to the card base using our 3D foam squares.

Next, I stamped the cute little dear to color and fussy cut.

I used We R Memory keepers scissors to fussy cut.

And finished with an Avery Elle postage stamp die cut frame.

For a fun look, I added some Snow marker. You dab it on the area you want to create a snow look and then use your heat tool to heat it up. So fun!

For the second card, I used the LDRS Ice valley stamp set to create a cute scene and used the die to cut the lake out, and used our 3D foam squares to pop it up. I colored the images with Copic markers and added some glitter pen for the sparkle.

I took the finished image and adhered it to the die cut foiled cardstock.

Using the iCraft 3D foam squares I adhered the colored image over the foiled cardstock to finish off the card.

The finished card really sparkles.

These cards were so much fun to create. The LDRS stamp sets are so cute and whimsical.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today.
