I absolutely LOVE dollar sections of stores. I mean the cuteness and the price and the holiday goodies…they just make me swoon! Valentines day is such a fun holiday to decorate for. The hearts and love are right up my ally. Using store bought items and adding some glitz and glam completely changes the look. I have turned a table runner into a super cute, no-sew banner with deco foil and added personalization to some store bought felt envelopes for fun Valentine gifts.

Simple and Quick Deco Foil Valentine Gift Project Instructions:
Table Runner to Banner:
Take your table runner and cut lengthwise from the bottom two inches longer than the width of the table runner. For example: my table runner was about 13 inches wide so I cut it at 15 inches long. Fold the raw edge 1/4” down wrong sides together. Then fold it again 1 1/4” down wrong sides together. Place your hem tape underneath the edge of your 1 1/4” folded edge and iron to create a sleeve for your dowel rod. Insert the dowel rod.
Customizing your Banner or Envelopes:
Cut out your saying/names using your cutting machine or by hand.
Iron it onto the front of your new banner or envelope using a medium heat. Let it cool completely. Iron your foil transfer sheet onto your hot melt. LET IT COOL!! Pull if off and enjoy your custom, quick and simple Deco Foil™ Valentine gifts!
Happy sewing!
