Hello, Jenifer here with you today to share this fun little project. I found this really cute free pattern for a sewing machine mat that can also be a cover from Lillyella. I knew that these fabrics from PBS Sewing Mood collection would be a great fit for the project.
Sewing Machine Cover with Fusible Fleece
PBS Fabrics does this awesome thing with their fat quarter fabrics, they print them all on one piece of fabric. It makes it so much easier to store, you just cut out the part that you want and just fold up the whole sheet as one.

Sewing Machine Cover Sewing Tips
I did some random straight lines for my quilt sandwich (main fabric, fusible fleece, and back fabric) on the main piece.
I also use a piece of Fusible Fleece for the pocket.
PBS Fabrics also had really nice Salvages on the sides of the fabrics so I sewed them onto the pockets for decorations.
This mat can also be used as a machine cover. Isn’t that cute?
Here is a close-up of all the pockets. I am so pleased with how it turned out. I would love to see yours if you choose to make one, leave me a link and I will visit.
