Hi, it’s Mona, and I am super excited to be today on the Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog. I am going to use various new products from Rina K. Designs by Therm O Web like the new Electro-Pop StampnStencil Stamps, Stencils, Neon Glitz Glitter Gels, Neon Inkpads and more.
Sending Sunshine with Electro-Pop
I started the cardmaking with stamp layering. I stamped the solid images from the brand new Sweet Stuff and Sending Sunshine Stamp’n Stencil Stamp Sets by Rina K. Design. For the stamping, I used the Electro Pop Neon ink pads by Rina K. Designs in Rainbow order. Once the stamping was complete, I ran them through my die-cut machine with the coordinating dies.
Next, I added to the stamped Ice cream images the new Neon Glitz Glitter Gel in Orange Glow and Poppin’ Pink colors. I first sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray and then set onto my card base. I applied the Glitz with my Deco Foil Stencil Pal through the coordinating stencil and let the cards dry. (always good to promptly clean your stencil and stencil pal after using)
When I was done with the Glitz Glitter Gel, I decided to make the lemon with Neon Enamel Transfer Sheets. I followed the same process as with the Glitz Glitter Gels, but this time I used the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo. When it completely dried, I ran it through my laminator with the Hello Yellow Neon Enamel Transfer Sheets. After running through, peel off the transfer sheet to reveal the glossy finish. I really love this squeezy look!
Next, I created teal watercolor backgrounds with splatters in darker and lighter colors. Look how amazingly these cute images pop out from the teal background.
When the used mediums were dry, I put together my card with Memory Tape Runner XL™. When assembling my cards I wanted to add a little dimension, so I adhered my die-cuts with 3D White Foam Squares to the card base.
For some final touches, I embellished my cards with sequins, heart sprinkles and added some dots with a white pen. Now you’re ready to send some sunshine!
