Hi Therm O Web friends! Today I have some cards to share, made with adorable stamps from our friends at Waffleflower Crafts mixed with our shiny Deco Foil Metallix Gel.
Sending Hugs Card Colorful
To begin, create a top-folding A2 card base from Luxury White cardstock. Cover the front with Wild Dandelion cardstock, and round the bottom two corners. Stamp the image onto Luxury White cardstock using an ink safe for alcohol markers, and then color the image. Trim the stamped panel to be slightly smaller than the card base. Round the bottom two corners of the stamped panel.
Trim a 2″ x 5.5″ strip of chocolate brown cardstock, and emboss the strip with a textured embossing folder. Adhere the strip down the center of the card base. Cut a small slit in the crease of the card base, and poke baker’s twine through it. Wrap the twine around the card, tying it into a bow at the top.
Die cut the image from a piece of scrap paper. Spray the back of the mask, and the back of a stencil with Pixie Spray. Allow the spray to sit for a minute to become tacky. Place the mask over the stamped image.
Place the stencil over the panel, and press it in place. Apply White Pearl Metallix gel to the straight edge of the Stencil Pal using a palette knife. Drag the Stencil Pal over the top of the stencil, adding more gel as needed to cover the entire area.
Peel off the stencil and the mask, and set the stamped panel aside to dry. Wash the tool and the stencil immediately with warm soapy water.
Die cut a script sentiment from Sunshine Yellow Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet. Add small dots of Mixed Media adhesive to the back of the die cut, and then adhere it to the bottom right corner of the stamped panel.
Apply Foam Squares to the back of the panel, and then attach it to the card base. Add a small dot of Mixed Media adhesive under the bow to keep it in place.

For the second card, create an A2 card base from Luxury White cardstock.
Cut a smaller panel of kraft cardstock. Stamp the image onto Bristol cardstock using Archival Ink, and then color the image with watercolor pencils. Die cut the image using the matching die.
Spray the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray. Let it sit for a minute, and then place the stencil on top of the kraft panel. Apply Pure Gold Metallix Gel to the Stencil Pal, and then drag and smooth the gel over the stencil until the entire area is covered. Remove the stencil and set the paper aside to dry. Wash the tools and stencil immediately with warm soapy water.
Once the gel has dried, adhere the kraft panel to the card base. Wrap twine around the left edge of the card, tying the ends into a bow in the center. Stamp part of the sentiment onto the inside of the card. Stamp the second part onto Luxury White cardstock. Hold the matching die in place with 1/2″ Purple Tape, and die cut the sentiment. Adhere the sentiment label and the image to the card using Foam Squares. add a dot of Mixed Media adhesive behind the bow to hold it in place.
Enjoy!
