Hiya ThermOWeb fans! This week ThermOWeb designers are working with Sassy & Crafty to share with you the amazing creations you can create with the Sassy & Crafty stamps and stencils combined with a wide range of ThermOWeb products. Today, I, Suzanna, have created a layout with 3 different techniques involved; stamping on the flock, foiling with a couple of the new toner sheets (and watercoloring one), and mixing Glitz Glitter Gel with a stencil. Are you ready?!

ThermOWeb Supplies;

First things first, the parts of the project that need drying so you can work on other things while they dry – the leaves! While you wait the two minutes for your Pixie Spray to dry on the back of your Sassy & Crafty “Collecting Leaves” stencil, gather Grass Green and Gold Glitz Glitter Gel. Using a palette knife, apply the green to the bottom half of the leaf. Next apply the gold with some overlap onto the green, dragging the excess green into the bottom of the leaf with the gold. Set this aside to dry while you work on your butterflies.

Creating the butterflies is super easy; Flock Transfer sheets, Flutter by Butterfly Stamp from Sassy & Crafty and Catherine Pooler inks (I used Skylight with the Blue Sky and Pink Champagne with the Pink Carnation flock). Ink up your butterfly stamp, then press the stamp to the flock. Stamp all the butterflies giving yourself time to let the ink dry somewhat so you can use your detail scissors to fussy cut them out.

Last but not least, the toner sheets. These make great layers for your projects. Heat up your hot laminator while you select the colors that coordinate with your project. Rebekah Meier’s Vintage Tin and a lovely Pink Quartz coordinate perfectly with this Carta Bella collection, Flower Garden. Cut the foil slightly larger than your toner sheet, I’m using an A2 card front. Place the foil silver to black or colored side out. Encase in parchment and set it through the hot laminator. Beautiful, don’t you think?!

If you are so inclined, grab your watercolors and a water brush to jazz up a few of the blooms. Fussy cut a few to sprinkle throughout the page.

Now assemble your garden adorned with butterflies and step back and enjoy your creation!

As always, if you are interested, there is a process video. The first portion of the video details the techniques while the remainder is the process of how I incorporated those embellishments into my layout. Grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy!
