Hello friends and Happy Holidays! It’s Juliana with you today to share a Rustic Holiday Card using Therm O Web Deco Foil and Clear Toner Sheets.

Rustic Holiday Card

Before you begin creating, make sure to turn on your laminator and allow it to preheat.  You will use this to foil the clear toner sheets.

While the laminator is heating up, let’s create the background for the card. Take a piece of white cardstock and ink it with Distress Oxide Ink in Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo. To achieve the look of falling snow, use a small paintbrush to flick water onto the inked paper. Dry the water with a paper towel and it will remove the ink and leave you with the look of snow.  For additional interest on the background, stamp a music note design using water proof brown ink.

Trim a piece of burlap to 1.75 x 5.25 inches and adhere to the card front using Therm O Web Super Tape.

Deco Foil and Clear Toner Sheets

Now that the laminator is heated, take a sheet of the Rustic Winter Designer Clear Toner Sheet and trim it to 3.75 x 4.75 inches. Position a piece of Amber Watercolor Deco Foil on top of the design. Place it inside a piece of a folded parchment paper along with a piece of cardstock for additional sturdiness. Remember to observe which direction the grain or lines are running on the backside of the foil and then feed the foil into the laminator so that the lines are running horizontally to the opening of the laminator to help eliminate wrinkling. Adhere the foiled toner sheet on top of the burlap using Super Tape.

Die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Gina K Designs Nested Square Die Double Stitched Design. Stamp your image with light green ink. Next, stamp your sentiment and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Ink the edges of the square and adhere it to the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
