Right Now.. with Ruby Rock-it

Hey y’all, it’s Mandy Koeppen here sharing a layout created with the new Ruby Rock-it Essence collection. I’ll be honest I’m not a pocket page scrapper but I do love the size of all those awesome cards. Creating a layout using layers of the cards in a grid pattern was a no brainer.

Here’s the layout I created.

Let’s get started.

Here is a photo of the supplies I started with.

After opening the packages I decided which cards I would use and papers to cut down for frames. One thing to point out I love that Ruby Rock-it gives you multiples of each card so that you can use both front and back on different projects.

Decide which pattern papers to cut frames using a manual die cutting machine.

Cut frames with die cutting machine. Pick background paper and then pick 4-6 frames to use on the layout.

Add layers of pattern paper, frames, tags, doily , journal cards, and photos to layout. The photo above shows the push around process before adhering anything down.

once you have the layout in the design you want adhere layers using

Sticky Dot Mini Runner .

Adhere frames to journal square and photos with 3D Foam Squares.

Using Sticky Dot Mini Runner adhere your photos to the layout.

Using a circle punch cut a circle from the Ruby Rock-it paper to adhere to your tag with a Zot.

Add Title using large font stickers or thickers.

Add journaling with typewriter to journal card. Adhere to page with Sticky Dot Mini Runner . Add date with roller stamp.

Embellish with washi tape and fussy cut pattern paper pieces. Adhere with Sticky Dot Mini Runner,3D Foam Squares, and Zots.

Here is the finished layout again.
