Hi there! Chrissie here today and I’m excited to share some cards I created using brand new DecoFoil Transfer Foils, Flock and some new Card Toner Fronts!

Retro 80’s Style Cards with Mystic Rainbow Deco Foil and New Toner Card Fronts!

The new Mystic Rainbow Foil is seriously stunning! It reminds me that Spring is right around the corner and I couldn’t be happier.  The Mystic Rainbow Foil inspired me to create these fun, retro 80’s inspired cards!

Supplies:
Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Mystic Rainbow
Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts
Deco Flock Transfer Sheets, Midnight Blue

iCraft UltraBond Permanent Dries Clear Adhesive Pen, 1 fl oz
iCraft Memory Tape Runner XL (50ft)
iCraft 3D Foam Squares Dispenser Box 320 count (White)
Deco Foil Parchment Paper
Catherine Pooler: Let the Good Times Roll Stamps/Dies
Catherine Pooler Inks: All That Jazz, Midnight

To use the foil and Toner Card Fronts, I made sure my laminator was completely heated up.  This is a big one! If the laminator isn’t ready, the foil won’t adhere properly.  Then, I placed the Toner Card Front and Foil (silver side down) on a piece of cardstock and placed it inside parchment paper.  I ran it through my laminator and that’s it! It’s so easy.

The hardest part is waiting for the laminator to heat up! After that, it is super fast to create foiled backgrounds.  And… There are so many things you can do with the Toner Card Fronts! I usually just add ink and keep it simple, but you can die-cut, emboss, paint… Anything you can think of.  The foil adds that extra element!

I embossed the new Midnight Blue Flock by running it through my die-cutting machine.  It is very subtle, but I love that small addition. For the poms on the roller skates, I used my Xl Tape Runner to add some dry adhesive.

Then, I just pressed the Flock onto that area.  You can use dry or wet adhesive with the flock.  Or even our Transfer Gels.  I really like that the flock comes on sheets, so I can emboss or die cut the sheets if I choose.  It makes it so much more versatile.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are loving these new items as much as I am!
