Recycle DecoFoil Tubes into Fun Halloween Packaging!

Hello there! Alice with you today to share a quick and easy Halloween treat container using your empty DecoFoil packaging. With a bit of paper to cover the label you can transform the empty tubes into the perfect size packaging for candy or other small treats.

The gift tags feature the brand new black DecoFoil™ and are made using inexpensive shipping tags from the office supply store. First, apply ink to add color to the tag using a foam applicator.

Next, die cut or punch Halloween shapes from the new sticky backed DecoFoil™ toner sheets and adhere to the tag. 

Cover the toner shapes with a piece of black DecoFoil™ with the color facing up. Run through a laminator inside a piece of copy paper folded in half.

Peel up the foil transfer sheet to reveal the image. Using the new toner sheets with DecoFoil™ creates a mirror smooth finish.

Stamp with a sentiment, if desired, and tie to the decorated tube using baker’s twine.

As an alternative to using printed Halloween paper, it is easy to make your own by adding DecoFoil accents to any neutral paper, such as the black and white stripe used here. Simply cut thin strips of the sticky back Deco Foil™ PeelnStick Toner Sheet and adhere to the paper. Apply one color of foil at a time and run through a laminator. Add additional strips of toner and colors of foil until you get the desired effect. In the sample above, circles were punched from a toner sheet and two colors of foil were added. 

To create the striped paper, use Pumpkin, Purple, and the newly released Iridescent DecoFoil™.
