If you have lots of scraps, here’s a fun way to use some of them up.
Start by tearing scraps into 1″ strips. Once you have some strips torn, wither sew or fabric fuse the two ends together.
Use a piece of cardstock or cardboard the desired length of the finished tassel. Wrap the fabric around the cardstock approximately 8 times.
Gently, slide the fabric off the yardstick and with a 4″ strip, toes a knot securing the 8 looped strips.
Take another strip and ties just below it securing all of the strips together.
Wrap the excess fabric over the know and around the tassel. Secure the fabric with a dot of Liquid Fabric Fuse™ Adhesive.
Cut the loops at the bottom of the tassel.
Enjoy!
