Hello everyone! This is Kim Lapacek of Persimon Dreams with you here today! I just wanted to share with you a fun little project for trick-or-treating!
The plastic pumpkins don’t hold enough candy and the plastic bags can break too easily. Let’s make them a bag that will last throughout the years for trick-or-treating!
Trace the words ‘Trick or Treat’ onto iCraft® Deco Foil™Hot Melt Adhesive. Cut them out along the lines you drew and place them on the top of the bag in a layout that makes you happy. Place a Pressing Sheet over the letters and press with iron in place for 30 seconds. Let the letters and fabric cool before you peel off the top papers.
Next, place a sheet of black Deco Foils™ over the words. Put down your pressing sheet once again and press the deco foil to the words for 30 seconds. Wait for everything to cool. Once the bag has cooled, peel the deco foil off.
I thought it was really fun to see what my sheet of Deco Foil™ looked like after I had peeled it off!
And with that – a cute Halloween bag went to a perfect trick or treating bag!
I followed the same method shared above to make this fabulous trick-or-treating bag with the word ‘Boo’ Deco Foiled onto it.
I guarantee that the folks at the houses will not only compliment your kiddos on their costumes but everyone is going to want their trick-or-treat bag too!
