Hello everyone, Sesil here to give you a couple of quick tips on how I use my Sticky Lines and Zots in my studio.

In the fashion industry, they say the accessories completes an outfit. In scrapbooking our accessories are the embellishments. In both industries as women we tend to gravitate toward gems, diamonds and anything that sparkles.   A girl loves her bling and that is why I like to incorporate the shimmer and shine in my crafting projects.   I love the look of the jeweled borders on layouts and on cards.  So when I discovered flat back pears and Sticky Lines I was in a crafters heaven.  So what do you get when you have flat back pearls and Sticky Lines?

Flat back pearls and Sticky Lines

You get your own decorative beaded border sticker at a fraction of the cost of the pre-assembled pack that you purchase at the store! Woo hoo!

I love to have a couple of border strips ready to go at any notice. I usually make a series of borders so the next time I need a jeweled border I can just pull out the sticker strip and go.

After making the border strips I am left with a few single pearls.
Extra pearls and ZOTS

I love using the Zot Singles to add to the back of  the remainder flat back pearls and having them ready to go.  I store all of my individual Zoted adhesive jems in a small cup. All I have to do is just pull the protective sheet off the back of the pearl and it is ready to be adhered to my project.

Zot Singles are great for make and takes and classes.  Recently I made some hand made embellishments and left the protective sheet still attached when I placed it on the Zot. All the student had to do was pull off the carrier sheet and stick it on their project just like a sticker.  The key is trying not to handle the ZOT with your fingers.  I use Zots for everything! Ask my husband, sometimes he even tells me to MYOZ. (mind my own Zots)

I hope you enjoyed my quick tip for you on how to get the most out of your sticky lines and zots.  Make sure to come back for more inspiration here on Therm o Web’s Blog.  Please leave a comment and let us know what you do with your ZOTS.  Till next time… have fun creating!
