Quick to Make Holiday Cards with Gina K. Designs Instructions:
To create each card, I began by creating a watercolor effect with the Gina K Premium Ink Pads. I dab the ink pad on a piece of clear packaging (or acetate), spritz with water, and then press onto my Gina K White Cardstock base. For the “Holidays” card, I used the green shade from each ink pack, and a bit of yellow and blue as well. Foy the “Joy” card, I used the blue and pink.
Next, I used the Foilmates, the Gina K Designs Fancy Foils, and a laminator to apply foil to the Foilmates designs. I cut small pieces of the foil for the sentiments so that I could create sentiment tags with two colors. Then I cut out the sentiment labels with the Gina K Designs Labels Nested Dies.
For the “Holiday” card, I cut my green ink watercolor background down to create a white border around it when placed on the card base and stitched around the edges with a gold thread. Then I added a strip of the foiled “Holiday Flora” Foil mate.
Next, I popped the foiled label up with some 3D foam squares. Finally, I added some red berries with some Nuvo drops, and hand cut some holly leaves to add to the front.
Joy Card Quick to Make Holiday Cards Instructions:
For the “Joy” card, I added some stitched lines in silver thread and fussy cut out some blue foiled snowflakes from the “Blizzards” backgrounds Foil-Mates. I popped the sentiment and snowflakes up with 3D Foam Squares.
Hope you are inspired to make some beautiful and simple cards with Gina K Designs today!
