Henlo! I’ve got some adorable pups for you today! I’ve used tons of White Latte and Black Velvet Plush Paper for the two cards I have for you today.
I started by die cutting a panel of Kraft cardstock and then added some Transfer Gel Duo through the Big Paws stencil from Miss Ink.
The gel appears white when it is applied, but dries clear. I set it aside while I assembled my furry pups.
I used this adorable Be A Dog Die from Waffle Flower. I cut two from white cardstock to use as bases and then one from Black Velvet Plush Paper and one from White Latte Plush Paper.
I cut apart the pieces on the two cut from Plush Papers and glued the to the cardstock bases.
I ended up cutting some extra ears so I could add black ears to the white pup.
I covered the eyes from the back with black cardstock and inserted the nose and tongue and then added foam tape across the back to hold it all together and pop it up on the card.
When the Transfer Gel was dried to tacky, I laid it over a sheet of Black Plush Paper and ran it through my die cutting machine with a sandwich for embossing to apply pressure but not too much.
And I was left with a background of cute furry pawprints.
I popped up a photo frame and die cut some accessories from cardstock and foiled toner sheets. Finally a cute sentiment from the Waffle Flower Pawsome Birthday Sentiments that I stamped and fussy cut.
For my second card, I created a Deco Foiled background.
The Color Harmony Shades of Brown pack has that beautiful woodgrain paper. I deco foiled a Toner Sheet with it.
I wanted the background to be a little less shiny so I ran it through the Fuse a second time and then embossed it with a woodgrain embossing folder.
So cool, right??
For this one, I added some accessories from the Waffle Flower Be Accessories cut from Deco Foiled gel prints and another sentiment from Pawsome Birthday set.
That’s me for today! Whether you use Plus Papers with Transfer Gel or just to die cut from it adds a really fun texture to any project.
Thanks for stopping! Come back again for more inspiration!
