Post Cards from the Berry Patch
By Heather Collins

Taking a walk in nature was one of my favorite childhood memories. My Dad and I would walk and talk for hours.  Truly don’t remember what we talked about, but I remember this being a carefree time of my life.

I wanted to capture nature when I made this project.

To start this project I took a small media tag and added some distressed, inked papers using the iCraft Ultrabound Permanent Dries Clear Adhesive.  Next using a pallet knife,  molding paste and a stencil to add another layer.

I used several stamps to add more contrast to this layer.  By doing all these steps I basically created my own background paper.

Then I used the Ultrabond Clear Adhesive and applied it in random places around the tag and let dry for 20 seconds.  Then I pressed the Deco Foil Transfer Sheet in Copper to where the glue was still tacky.

Lastly using the iCraft Ulrabond Permanent Adhesive I added the Berry stamps that I had stamped, colored and fussy cut out.

I also added my found tree bunch, faux nest, rocks and lace. To add another dimension iCraft 3D foam tape was added underneath some of the stamped images.

This project is the perfect way to capture those childhood days of long ago.
