Hello!  I’ve got some more So Succulent Toner Card Fronts for you today!  I created two cards with one Toner Card Front by using the negative foil with amazing Gina K. Designs Solid White Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets!  For this one, I simply used my Gina K. Designs Fuse Foiling System to foil the card front with one of the green foils from the Deco Foil Color Harmony Shades of Green pack.

Then I used detail ink brushes to blend Distress Oxide inks onto the succulents first and then…

I filled in around them.

When I was done, I buffed over the top with a soft cloth (I accidentally discovered that dried up baby wipes work great for stuff like this!)

I die cut the panel with a rectangle die.

I splatterd some water over the top and dabbed the droplets to create a more distressed background. Then I die cut my Lawn Fawn focal images and popped them up using foam tape for dimension; see details on how I made these in the directions for the second card below. The purple sparkly frame is a now sold-out Glitter Dust Frame from Therm O Web, but you could create your own using dies and glitter paper.

For the second card, I used the leftover “negative” foil sheet and ran it through the Fuse with a Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheet. When you peel off the foil carrier this time, you’ll see there is nothing left … all the foil gets used up, so no waste!

For this one, I blended some purple Distress Oxide ink over the top and buffed it clean.

I have a couple different ways that I dull the shine a little sometimes… one is to run the panel through the Fuse a second time after it’s foiled and the other is to spray it with Glitter Dust spray!

It’s the perfect way to dull the shine just a bit but also add some sparkle… it’s a really cool look!

I also sprayed Glitter Dust over a couple gel prints I had made … sometimes I make some that are just solid colors to use for this purpose. Once the spray dries completely, you can add foil by running it through the Fuse. Depending on the amount and coverage of the spray, you’ll get different results… I love it when some of the original print shows through so it’s not solid foil.

I love how these little potted plants from Lawn Fawn turned out when I cut them from the foiled gel prints!

I added some sparkly frames and used Gina K Shaker Strips to pop them up.

Super cute right??  I also used some Teal Waters Deco Foil Plush Paper for a few of the pieces on this card for contrast, the pot on the left and the leaves on the right.  I popped my cute little plants into the frames and then added a couple sentiments that actually came from one Brass & Bliss sentiment and I just cut them into separate sentiments!

Plant Smiles….

Grow Giggles…

That’s me for today!  I hope you enjoyed my green-and-purple cards!  I had a lot of fun making them.
