Pink & Main Christmas Crafts Collaboration
Happy December friends! Today I’m sharing three projects created using one stamp set. I ordered this stamp set because I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. I didn’t even notice until I got the stamp set that it was created by 12 fabulous companies in this industry and that the profits benefit art education for children. This stamp set, the Pink & Main “Merry Christmas” die and Thermoweb’s iCraft Decofoil Transfer Sheets were the perfect combination of products to create this trio of Christmas Crafts.
Christmas Crafts Supplies:
Deco Foil Transfer Sheets – Lime Green, Red and Gold
Deco Foil Peel and Stick Toner Sheets
Deco Foil Metallix – White Pearl
iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive
Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheets
Pink & Main Clear Stamps and Metal Dies
Other supplies: Cardstock, patterned paper, black ink, markers or watercolor paints and brush, bow, circle and scallop dies, Stephanie Bernard Flip-it Card die, treat bag die, tag die, ribbon and sequins.
STEP ONE:
Treat Bag
Create a treat bag or box or begin with a purchased favor bag. Next, die-cut a medallion or doily from peel and stick Toner Sheets. I would be willing to bet that we all have something in our stash that will work for this. Anything round that will serve as a base for the Holiday Seal Stamp would be perfect. Foil the peel and stick Toner pieces in green, red and gold using Deco Foil Transfer Sheets* and layer with kraft cardstock.
* To foil, place toner sheet die-cut face up in the carrier and lay foil toner sheet over the die-cut, dull side down, close carrier and run through foiling machine according to machine instructions.
Add patterned paper and foiled medallion to the front of the favor bag.
Hint: If you don’t have a favor bag or treat bag die, a library pocket or envelope die will also work.
STEP TWO:
Flip-it Card
Start by die-cutting a Flip-it Card (or any card with a circle detail) from kraft cardstock along with a scalloped circle slightly larger than the Holiday Seal stamp. The scalloped circle should be cut from Peel and Stick Toner Sheets. Next, foil the scalloped circle with gold Deco Foil Transfer Sheets pursuant to the instructions in Step One. Add patterned paper to embellish your card base. Using the Pink & Main “Merry Christmas” die, create a dimensional sentiment by die-cutting a Foam Adhesive Sheet layered with cardstock. Lastly, add a sentiment to the card base.
Hint: If you are out of Foam Adhesive Sheets, Die-cut sentiment 4-6 times from cardstock and layer to create dimension.
STEP THREE:
Shaker Tag
Die-cut two tags from kraft cardstock and embellish one with strips of patterned paper, cardstock and a foiled strip of Peel and Stick Toner Sheet. Next, cut a circle from the embellished tag and adhere a piece of Clear Designer Toner Sheet behind the circle using Super Tape. On the backside of the embellished tag, add foam tape strips around the circle cut-out to create a shaker window pocket.
Hint: Before you adhere to the clear toner sheet behind the cut-out, line up the two tags and trace around the cut-out with pencil onto the second tag. This will help you to line up your stamped image later.
STEP FOUR:
Stamps
Begin by stamping three of the Holiday Seals onto watercolor paper. Color the images using markers or watercolors. Next, add White Pearl Metallix to any area where you want extra texture and shimmer. Finally, once the images are completely dry, die-cut the images.
STEP FIVE:
Finishing Touches
Adhere a stamped image to each project and add a coordinating ribbon. Add sequins to the shaker tag and sandwich between the two tags.
Hint: Not all ribbon needs to the fabric. Note the ribbon on the favor bag is a die-cut.
Thank you so much for stopping by and allowing me to share my Christmas projects with you!
