Hello friends! Thank you for stopping by the Therm O Web Blog today. I’m excited to share a fun project that I created using the NEW Silent Night: A Child is Born Scrapbook Collection, designed by Jennifer Long of Sew A Story for PhotoPlay Paper, along with some fabulous Therm-O-Web products.

The Silent Night collection is now available from a variety of online retailers, including Scrapbook.com and CraftDirect.com. Check with your favorite retailer for these sweet, beautifully illustrated products guaranteed to capture your holiday memories.

For the next four Mondays, our Design Team will be sharing a fun array of projects featuring the Silent Night collection, from albums to cards to tags and more. Be sure to check out the coordinating HeatnBond Silent Night Sparkle Stencil and HeatnBond Sparkle Pastes in a  color palette curated to match the colors in the paper collection.

For my project, I created a little tag album with elements included in the kit. I started off by using this month’s hot foil plate from Spellbinders Glimmer Club, Magic Wonderland, and Deco Foil Hot Foil, Gold Stardust.

The subtle design on this cardstock makes it perfect for using a hot foil design like this one to enhance the cardstock. Then I used some adhesive to attach a smaller tag to the back.

Next, using dies, I cut out some of the images to adhere to the tags.

I also used Plush Paper to die cut some shapes to embellish the tags.

Here’s a finished tag.

For the next tag, I wanted to use an embossing folder to create some texture on the patterned paper.

I love how that looks. Then I adhered it to the tag and then layered another image over. I finished with a wooden snowflake.

I like layering cardstock shapes, so I used some postage stamp dies on this one.

I wanted to use the Shaker Strips from Gina K. Designs to make one of the tags a shaker.

I die cut the cardstock and, using the XL Adhesive runner, adhered the acetate piece.

Then I peeled the strips off and positioned. So easy!

Next, I placed the amount of sequins and micro beads (to help them move easily) in the center, peeled the strips, and placed them over the tag to secure.

There are so many fun images to cut and use from this kit to tell the story of the birth of Jesus.

I decided to use this image as the cover. I used a ring to secure all the tags and added some other embellishments.

Here’s a look at all the tags. They really turned out cute!

I really enjoyed creating with this collection from PhotoPlay Paper designed by Jennifer Long. The patterned paper, coordinating stickers, and embellishments are so cute, and the colors are beautiful! I’ve got plenty left over to make cards and other projects.

Hope you have time to get crafty with this fun collection!
