Have you made sure to pick up all the pattern from the Fruit BOM?  Not only are there some great layout ideas on how to add your fruit blocks, but the applique blocks are adorable alone.  It is time to show how I added them.  Amy, here from Sew Incredibly Crazy, to share my quilt layout.

Paper Pieced Fruit Salad Quilt

Finished size 32 1/2″ square

If you have never uses the HeatnBond EZ-Print Quilt Block Sheets for paper piecing, you are missing out.  They make paper piecing a breeze.  They are easy to see where the fabric is to stitch.

The blocks that were made for this quilt were printed out separately.  They were large enough to require 4 sheets a block.  I choose to make the blocks and then add the Fruit applique afterward.

The blocks were created using an assortment of beautiful Batik fabrics by Island Batiks.

Like with any paper piecing project, the stitching needs to be set smaller.  The HeatnBond EZ-Print paper makes it easy to remove after stitching.

There are so many different and fun ways to use these patterns.  I hope I inspired you to try something new.
