Hiya ThermOWeb fans, Suzanna here today to share with you a layout I created using the new ThermOWeb/Unity Ornamental Pine Stamp and Stencil set. Have you seen it yet? Are you amazed and blown away like I am? It’s AHmazing, right?

And that Silver and Gold Glitter foil? Yup, the design teams of both companies have shared some amazing projects this week! If you haven’t seen them yet, be sure to go to earlier posts and see what creativity lies here. Here’s a recap of the goodies for you; rubber stamp with “pull-outs” that you can stamp in a group or separately, coordinating stencil and die and two amazing foil transfer sheets; Silver Glitter and Gold Glitter.

Here’s my full project; a large photo Christmas layout featuring a forest of trees and a glitter/vellum tag shaker. Feeling Festive?! All that lovely Gold Glitter really gets you in the festive spirit, doesn’t it?

ThermOWeb Supplies:

A stamp positioning tool is a must if you are going to create a background, or forest, of these trees. Each diagonal line of trees is a slightly different shade of green Catherine Pooler ink; Seafoam, Sea Glass and Deck the Halls.

Patience is a must as well! Because of the overlap in the top and bottom of the stamp, you can stamp it on repeat but the story is a little different with the stencil and Duo. You MUST let the first application of Duo dry completely (it will be clear when completely dry) before you move further down the page and repeat a second time. Even then, you want to be careful to not push the stencil, hence why some Pixie Spray on the back of your stencil is critical. Saving you from having that stencil slip sliding around!

The coordinating metal die is a great addition to the collection as it affords you the ability to have the trees individually, great for embellishments. Like directly above or the trio at the top of the page. A strip or two of the mega foam roll pops one or two trees thus providing some depth to the cluster.

When it comes to the adhesive to adhere all these goodies to the page, you have so many great options; the Gina K dot roller for most paper, Zots for things like the sequins stars and smaller items, foam squares or roll for items you want to pop off the page and UltraBond for those finer details like the word “merry”, one of the four words available in the die set.

Be sure to click on the video below for a visual tutorial on how I used the stamp and stencil on repeat than watch the rest of the page come together!

Thanks for stopping in today!

Suzanna
