Jenifer here with you today, when I heard we were going to do a Jennifer Jangles week I was so excited I could barely stand it. Jennifer’s whimsical designs are just to cute, bright and fun they put a smile on your face. The hardest part for me was just picking out one project to do, but the Okey Dokey Owl won out.
Jennifer’s patterns were clear and easy to follow. My 11 year old daughter and I made the owl together and had a great time and my 7 year old son has one on order in the colors blue and green:)
I knew this pattern was going to be a favorite and I believe we will be making some for Christmas presents so to make the pattern last I traced it on to the new StitchnSew™ Pattern Material. StitchnSew™ is a nice light weight interfacing that you can see through to trace patterns or you can run it through your printer and print off your patterns. This stuff is so cool, I know I will be using it all the time.
Here is a close up of our little Christmas Owl, we even put some little jingle bells on his wings:) Thank you so much Jennifer for allowing me to make this fun project, you are so very talented.
Be sure to visit Jennifer’s Blog for more information on her fabrics, patterns and of course the Okey Dokey Owl Pattern!
Jennifer has kindly offered to give to one of our lucky readers an assortment (four patterns; Otis and Rhubarb, Lottie Dot Bag, Okey Dokey Owl and Friends Quilt, and the Little Ditties) of her adorable patterns!

[…] Winter is here and it’s time to eat all of those leftover Candy Canes! Inspired I am sure by the yummy crooked cane candy, this little owl is ready for sitting by the fire. […]

August 7, 2013 at 8:41 am (11 years ago)You know your chances are slim at winning anything, when all the giveaways have to do with Twitter.
I have no clue what twitter is, or how to use in on my phone. But I do love you products and the owl pattern is simply adorable…

August 7, 2013 at 10:59 am (11 years ago)I’ve never been to Jennifer’s site before. I love her style and the owls are adorable. I’d love to try her Okey Dokey and Friends Applique Quilt pattern. That would be perfect for both my Granddaughters’.
I also am very interested in the StitchnSew product. I have never seen that before now. That definitely looks like something I can use. I need something for tracing patterns right now and have been deciding what I wanted to use because I do like to trace just the one time and then save those pattern pieces in the envelope with the pattern. I was told about a paper product normally used in doctor offices to cover the exam tables but that would mean tracing the pattern each time. StitchnSew sounds like a good option to check out. Thank you.
