Hi crafty friends, it’s Ellen here, today I will be sharing with you some cards for friends with a new home.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Cards
As you can see on the picture above, I was inspired by ugly winter sweaters when I was making these cards.
I will show you how I made this card.
To start, I did cut out the sweater shape from White Foam double-sided adhesive. Then I used my die cutting machine to apply the Deco Foil Flock Blue Sky Transfer Sheets on top of the White Foam Double-Sided adhesive.
A sweater needs to have a pattern. That’s why I took out a stencil duo and my Distress Ink. I really love how you can add color on the Deco Foil Flock with Distress Ink.
Later I did cut out other shapes with different colors from the Deco Foil Flock; Teal Water, Ruby Red and White Latte.
I Also did cut out the word hello out of White Foam double-sided adhesive and attached the Ruby Red Deco Foil Flock. As last step, I stamped a sentiment on top of the sweaters and placed rhinestones next to the text with the iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive.
Of course, one card isn’t enough. I had to make another card!
I used the same techniques as above, but I did use other Deco Foil Flock colors; White Latte, Pink Carnation, Think Pink and Purple Punch.
I really love the end results. The flock makes me feel cozy; perfect for a winter move.
